Charalambos Koumoussis
Charalambos Koumoussis is Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Capital 1 and Chairman of European Holdings SA. Mr. Koumoussis is a member of the Executive Committee. He oversees client sourcing and relations and the overall daily management and administration of the company.
Prior to joining Capital 1, Mr. Koumoussis was the founder and an executive officer of Ocean Lines SA, a fleet of bulk fuel product carriers, and a partner in Estiades SA, a food and beverage company owning and operating coffee stores under the national brand name of “Flocafe”. From 1987 to 1993, Mr. Koumoussis served as advisor to Mr. Fondas Galinas, President of the Onassis Real Estate Foundation and Olympic Towers in New York. From 1984 through 1987, Mr. Koumoussis successfully undertook the implementation of the European Union Water Supply and Irrigation Plan in Southern Greece along with the development and construction of NATO Fuel Storage within the European Union.
Mr. Koumoussis is on the Board of Directors of Estiades SA, Ehinger Cies LLC, Hypobache AGBH LLC, Ocean Lines SA and Elthanca SA.
Konstantine E. Dimakis
Konstantine E. Dimakis is Co-Chairman and President of Capital 1. Mr. Dimakis is a member of the Executive Committee. He oversees financial and corporate strategy development and property acquisitions and dispositions.
From 1995 through 2002, Mr. Dimakis was Vice-Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Corporation. He comes with extensive and immeasurable investment and capital markets experience, ranging from mergers and acquisitions to finance and asset management. Prior to 1995, Mr. Dimakis served as General Counsel for Heritage Corporation and in various executive positions in Heritage’s partner companies, including Webco Europe SA, Allied Capital Finance Corporation, Elmtree International Ltd and Downsworth Investments Inc..
Mr. Dimakis is Chairman of the Board of Directors of First European Capital Corporation and is on the Board of Directors of the following companies: Aufthauser HBSA, Ruegg NVCH, Zucher SauB, Mirabaud AB NV, Fideraum AGCH, Clariden Bach, Sarasin NV CO and Hypobache AGBH.
Joaquim Jose de Carvalho
Jaoquim Jose de Carvalho is Chief Financial Officer of Capital 1. Mr. Carvalho’s has overall responsibility for Capital 1’s financial, accounting and administrative duties.
Prior to joining Capital 1, Mr. Carvalho served as Executive Vice President of Heritage Corporation and as a Director of Webco Europe SA , where he was responsible for maintaining relationships with and raising debt and equity from capital sources on a corporate and project basis. Mr. Carvalho began his professional career as a bank officer of Banco Fonsecas & Burnay, Portugal.
Barbara Page
Barbara Page is Director of Marketing and Sales for Capital 1. Ms. Page has overall responsibility for Capital 1’s development of sales optimization and marketing effectiveness.
Ms. Page began her professional career with the French multinational cosmetic company Lancome Parfums et Beaute & Cie, and their subsidiary PBH, where she served in marketing and sales for over 17 years. At PBH, Ms. Page engaged in the market opportunity assessment of various products, effected economic value analysis (EVA) studies, executed sales and marketing initiatives, organized trade shows, advised market unit managers on financial feasibility of new business products and prepared periodic operating reviews to drive cost containment initiatives.
